The Huayra R is related to the Pagani Huayra and debuts as the natural successor to the Pagani Zonda R, which was the circuit version of the Pagani Zonda. If the Zonda R produced 800 horsepower with 700 Newton meters of maximum torque, the Huayra R ups the ante with its 850 horses and 750 Newton meters to become the most powerful car in the history of the brand.
This is a project that has been talked about for a long, long time. In fact, Pagani released a first photograph of the car in camouflage in the now distant 2016. Five years later and after multiple previews, the new supercar debuts in all its splendor.
Due to its status as a circuit car with an aspirated V12 engine, its natural rival is the GMA T.50s Niki Lauda. Gordon Murray's creation will have 735 horsepower, 115 less than the Pagani, but at 852 kilos it will be 192 kilos lighter than the Huayra R. The GMA will also be superior in aerodynamics, as it will generate a maximum of 1,500 kilos of support when the Pagani it stays at 1,000.
